”Talking about our future is so enjoyable. I hope our ideals come true. Well, finally, let’s talk about our ideals regarding the environment around us and then go out for a drink!” Ellena said cheerfully.
“Are you referring to politics and social structures?” Michi asked.
“I don’t want to make it too formal. It’s more about the kind of environment we want to live in and how we want to end our lives,” Ellena said, eager to discuss.
“Then, let’s start with Ellena. It sounds like you’re excited to share,” Michi said, playing the gentleman.
Ellena cleared her throat and began,
“Well, without hesitation… I believe that a society where everyone can live by doing what they want is ideal. I think it would be great if a social system were in place where anything people want to do is properly evaluated and rewarded, allowing them to sustain their lives.” Ellena spoke with genuine happiness.
“Hehe. An ideal society is one where everyone shines. Being able to fully engage in what you want to do and still be able to live is the perfect society for me.” Ellena’s vision reached its peak.
“I think Ellena’s ideal is very wonderful. I feel like society might be moving in the direction of your ideal. It’s exciting to think about what’s to come,” Michi said, feeling pleased as he listened to Ellena speak with such joy.
“Now, let’s hear about Michi’s ideal environment,” Ellena encouraged with a smile.
“Well, the environment can refer to many things, such as politics, social structures, social systems, education, welfare, healthcare, living infrastructure, and so on. I believe that all these aspects of the environment can be changed by oneself. So, as long as I am always aware of myself and engage in enjoyable things while doing what I want to do now, I think it will align with my ideals. I believe my ideals will come true. Therefore, my ideal environment is my own ideal. My ideal is to engage in activities that bring me joy. I truly believe this framework can work,” Michi concluded with a smile.
Ellena looked into Michi’s eyes and said,
“That’s very much like you, Michi. I support your ideals. Being able to make a living doing what you want is also part of my ideal.” She moved closer to Michi.
It was a kiss full of deep emotion.
