 When you get a small injury, such as a shallow cut on your fingertip from paper, bumping your toe on the corner of furniture, or a light scrape, or when you notice a minor injury you sustained without realizing it, you can realize that you were in a hurry, feeling anxious, or rushing things and had lost sight of yourself.

 At such times, you were probably pressed for time, worried about what others would say if you were late, or afraid of the situation you would be in.

 You can understand that the injury taught you that there is no need to rush, even while feeling those unpleasant or frightening emotions. If you can approach everything at a pace that allows you to hum a tune while doing it, I believe that unpleasant things will not happen to you.
